GET-TOGETHER

38 of us turned up at this year's get-together at Swiss Garden Golf Resort and Spa, Damai Laut, Lumut, Perak. A big thank you to Bros who painstakingly took the trouble to organise and sponsor the event, especially Bros Omar, Tajul Azwa, Jasmani and Masripan. May Allah bless you and reward you for your effort and sincerity.

Salam Bros,

I would like to express a very big thank you to Omar for being the key organiser for this event even though he has been very busy over the last few months buat kenduri kawin, buat bini dia ngandung, start kerja baru, etc. He also arrived early at the resort to ensure that all arrangements were in order, despite kena marah dek boss dia sebab ponteng kerja on Friday & tak apply for cuti.

Thanks to Jas for underwriting the rooms and to Masa for sponsoring a number of members.

Thanks Usop, although unable to make it, for releasing his paid room to others.

Thanks ARB for bringing your Tabib to give us some advice on health. There'll be a few members who will continue to flick their big toes every now and then.

Thanks Zubir for leading the prayers and tahlil.

Our appreciation to CWSam who travelled the furthest distance to join us.

Also to Mogah, for postponing his sabbatical departure to the US, in order to join us.

We're glad Manap could join us in the last few hours of the gathering, being last to arrive although his kawasan is just next to Lumut.

Thanks Daim for dropping by on Saturday. I wonder if it was planned that the two contenders for the next MB of Perak didn't turn up at the same time.

Thanks MO for carrying me thru the golf partnership. I'm also glad your body has some "cushion" when you crashed into me during volleyball.

Thanks Mac for being relatively well-behaved (probably because Madame was keeping an eye on you).

Another brother Dr Nik Rusdi Yaacob (5S1) returned to his Creator Allah swt at 4am this morning at Kubang Krian Hospital. Jenazah beliau akan dikebumikan di Kubang Krian, Kota Bharu. Rumah nya berhampiran dgn masjid besar Kubang Krian. For more details you may call his Brother in law Dr Abdul Halim on 012 6936140.

We just received news that one of our brothers AHMAD SHARBY ABDUL HAMID (5E2 -MCKK 1974) passed away today Sat 13/02/10 after Zuhur at Gleneagles Hospital, KL. The funeral will after Asar prayers @ Surau Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Cheras. Home address is : 1, Jln Suasana 2/5, Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Kuala Lumpur.

Launched to mark our 30th Anniversary in 2004 - for the first time ever - our batch has organised a reunion on a grand scale in Kijal. Terengganu. With the launch of this website - it is hoped that we can trace those brothers and long-lost friends - some of whom have been missing for more than 30 years!
